The Pavai Varam Educational Trust was originally founded and constituted by eminent professionals - a leading Chartered Accountant, a big Sago industrialist and well-known Pediatric Surgeon. The Trust functions at Rasipuram, the oldest town, ruled then by Valvil Ori, known for ghee, silk, sago(sabudana) and now is most popular  for 'Quality Education'. Rasipuram, a place appreciated for hospitality, is at present, a place recognized for professional education. To be the Diamond in the Crown of Rasipuram, Pavai Varam Educational Trust was established with the basic principle of providing a purposeful and goal-oriented technical education.
